News paper report

MAN GETS SWALLOWED WHOLE! Yesterday a tragedy struck a family from NZ while on holiday. Zac Prins aged 32, and Lucy Prins aged 30, were swimming off the coast of Vanuatu when they noticed something dark looming on the ocean floor. Without warning the vast eel circled them and then attacked Zac. When interviewed later that night Lucy said she was so sad and that it happened quickly one minute Zac was right next to me the other he was gone.

Dear Carla, I am writing to you because I would like to apologise for not coming to see you on Friday and Saturday. I am sorry for saying that I hated you that was very mean of me. You wont believe it I got a golden STAR. Thank you for looking after me even though I was realy hard work to you. I will really miss you. Thank you for giving me the book (my parents didn't steal an elephant) in a very very nice envelope. And I did go to Colleen’s birthday party and had lots of fun. I did all the games and ate the cake and on the drive home I had a sick tummy. Thank you for reading this letter I will really love hearing back from you. From Bradley Chalkers. Carla wrote a lovely letter to Bradley to say goodbye. I have imagined what Bradley would write back to her.

Black Panther

I am hiding behind this log and watching a black panther, would you like to meet my animal? It's probably a good idea to hide and watch from a safe distance.

My bake of

I rate my chocolate cake a 6 out of 10. When we went to put my cake in the oven the cake tin popped right off but we just manged to save it. After it was cooked we let it cool down, then we put the icing on and then ate it. It tasted really light and delicious, we loved it.

Where am I?

I celebrated my Mums birthday by making her breakfast in bed. We also celebrated Easter by reading the Easter story as a family. We decorated paper Easter Eggs and stuck them in the window for people to look at as they walked by. Then we got a lot of chocolate eggs. To finish the day we watched the movie Evan Almighty. On Anzac Day we made Anzac biscuits and made Anzac lanterns with poppies and a cross that said: "Lest we forget".

Kupe

Kupe: History tells us that Kupe was a brave and daring explorer. He sailed in a waka from Hawaiki around the Pacifica ocean and discovered New Zealand. He was from Hawaiki and his family included Hine-te-aparangi and his 2 daughters.
He can be remembered as a great leader because he found New Zealand which takes a lot of skill as a navigator. He also fought a giant octopus and saved his waka, showing how brave he was.
I think he wasn't a good person because he drowned his cousin for another wife even though he already had a wife. This makes him very selfish, but he was still a very good leader.

Howick historical

 Hi  Owairaka  we went to  Howick historical village it was awesome.but There was a Very strict teacher We also did a bunch of things that we would have had to do in the 1850s at school. Wold games like stilts,skipping,log walking and lots of other activities. And they were a lot of fun.e also got to play
